INFORMATION ON CONDUCTED INTERNATIONAL MEETING

Abstract: In the period 2 - 3 July 2015 in Luxembourg was conducted a meeting of the Committee on Monetary and financial statistics and balance of payments statistics.
Organizers of the meeting were the statistical office of the European Commission - Eurostat, the European Central Bank.
Representatives of all Member - States of the European Union (EU) countries - candidates for EU membership, the European Central Bank and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development took part in the meeting.
During the meetings of the Committee on Monetary and financial statistics and balance of payments statistics were reviewed and discussed issues related to:
- Report on the quality of statistical indicators underlying the tables of macroeconomic imbalances
- Decision to form a technical group to study and provide information on the identifier of the business units relevant to the production of statistical information
- Initiative for standardization of data the IMF - SDDS plus. Participants in the meeting were presented with a proposal for a questionnaire, the results of which will provide advice and support to countries - EU member states on the most effective ways to implement and transition to SDDS plus standard.
