Abstract: On March 28, 2021, at the age of 60, the Vice-Rector of the Academy of Economics ‘D. A. Tsenov’ and long-term head of the Department of Statistics and Applied Mathematics Prof. Dr. Polya Angelova passed away. The short article dedicated to Prof. Angelova presents the main moments of her creative path as academician. Along with this, she is well known as a person and a colleague - momentary memories of meetings worth remembering and collegial cooperation.
