RESEARCH ON STATE AND USE OF TOURIST BED PLACES IN BULGARIA

Резюме: Object of the study is the dynamics and structure of tourist bed places in Bulgaria. Monitored is the status and use of tourist bed places through relevant indicators based on available official statistics. Covered is the period 2009 - 2014, and the deductive approach has been applied. From the analysis of tourist bed places in the country as a whole there is a transition to its research at the level of statistical regions (NUTS2) and level of areas (NUTS3). The basic characteristic of the process of quantitative change of the establishments, providing beds in Bulgaria, in recent years is established as a result of the analysis. Assessed is the use, occupancy and average degree of seasonality of tourist bed places. The specifics of its current state, territorial and categorical allocation are pointed out.
