PROF. VENETS TSONEV - A REMARKABLE CREATIVE PATH IN THE THEORY AND PRACTICE OF AGGREGATE RESEARCH

Резюме: The paper tracks the life and creative achievements of one of the most prominent Bulgarian scientists - a statistician and a university lecturer. Both the results of his long years of teaching activities, as well as his significant achievements in the theory and practice of the aggregate research published in Bulgaria and abroad, are being considered. Noted is his significant contribution to the theory and practice of representative sample surveys in the country by the crated by him course and a textbook on representative researches. His contribution to the development of the relationship between philosophy, logic, and the statistical (aggregate) cognitive process used in various studies has been highlighted.
