Резюме: Under the modern conditions, the increasing demands of the users of statistical information and the penetration of ICT necessitate changes in the NSI structure of the NSI at the level of Central Management and RSO. The article presents the changes in the organizational structure of the NSI, aimed at meeting the goals of the National and European Statistical Programme. It also analyzes key features of the NSI’s activity to justify why they are needed and how they contribute to improving the statistical activity and the quality of statistical information.
